NeonPyro Ltd ("we", "us") is a web design and software studio based at Rose Farm Studios, Moss Lane, Moore, WA4 6WF. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Enquiries. When you fill in a contact form, email us or call us, we collect your name, contact details and whatever you tell us about your project. We use this only to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver the work. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (responding to you) and, where you become a client, contract.

Client work. If we build something for you, we hold the details needed to deliver it — contact details, billing details, project content and correspondence. Lawful basis: contract, and legal obligation for accounting records.

Analytics. If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited. This collects pseudonymous usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). It only runs after you accept, and you can change your choice at any time on our cookie policy page. Lawful basis: consent.

Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and reliability. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.

Enquiry correspondence is kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted. Client records needed for accounting are kept for 6 years as required by UK tax law. Analytics data is retained by Google for 14 months. Server logs are rotated by our hosting provider.

We never sell personal data. We share it only with the providers that help us run the business, each under appropriate data protection terms: our hosting provider (this website), Google (analytics, only if you accept cookies), and our email provider (correspondence). Some of these providers process data outside the UK; where they do, transfers rely on adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on consent (analytics), you can withdraw it at any time. Email hello@neonpyro.co.uk and we'll respond within one month — usually much sooner.

If you're not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
